I have had a life long facination with the sea, beachcombing and finding washed up treasures is a favourite pastime. 
 
When i make my ceramic pieces i like to think of them as little little treasures made by nature and washed up on the shore for us to find. Heavily inspired by the North Wales coast and barnacle covered coves and rock my barnacle budvases came to life.
 
Each vase is completely unique made from hand sculpted stoneware clay adorned with pearlescent barnacles and 24ct golden coral spores dotted over a glossy blue/green background.
 
These barnacle bud vases measure around 12cm by 3cm and is glazed inside with transparent glaze so it can hold water for your flowers.
